Baking cookies with Grandma… even as adults, our time spent baking with our grandmother brings back fond memories. The sights and smells of grandmother’s kitchen are never forgotten. Now as grandmothers, we get to re-create that wonderful experience for the next generation as we don our aprons and our own grandchildren come scrambling for a chance to scoop, stir, pour, roll-out, taste a spoonful of cookie dough, get lick of brownie batter or sneak a handful of chocolate chips. There is nothing better than biting into a warm soft cookie straight from grandma’s oven.  As grandmothers we get to experience the wonderful joy of sharing our tradition and history as we bake with our own grandsons and granddaughters- and with every cookie and every cake, we pass down a little bit of our grandmother to them- as they will hopefully pass on a little bit of us to their own grandchildren someday.
