What Do You Mean It’s Been Discontinued?
Have you ever had a favorite fragrance that over time became your signature scent only to discover that it was to be discontinued or simply phased out as a new line of fragrance was presented? Toasting Your Cookies!
I have a weakness, well probably several really but at least one that I’ll own up to. I LOVE a good cookie. It has to be good, I’m not wasting calories on a bad cookie! I made some oatmeal cookies a couple days ago. Some of the “break and bake” variety anyway. This “break and bake” plan is pretty darn convenient and for a day or so the cookies aren’t bad either. After that, they just don’t quite make the “good” cookie cut!
Bet you’re wondering, just where’s this Hip Tip? Well this morning, quite by accident, I discovered that if you take one of these 2 to 3 day old cookies and pop it in the toaster for 20 to 30 seconds it tastes like it’s fresh out of the oven! How this little tidbit escaped me all these years I can’t say but better late than never, right? ENJOY!

More “Bang For Your Buck”!!
Picture this…..it’s the week of Christmas, only a couple days left, a million things to do and Santa has “out-sourced” the wrapping of all the stocking stuffers to you! Wow, he must think you have nothing but time! Here’s a little something to make the task a bit easier. Keep a market basket or something similar close to your gift wrapping area. When cutting the paper for each package instead of throwing away the excess paper, toss it into the basket. When you finally sit down to give Santa a hand with the stockings, you’ve got a basket of pre-cut holiday paper ready for all the stocking stuffers…oops, I mean treasures!
