Sunday, 3/28/10Daddy-O (aka; Mr. Glammy Grammy or Grumpy Grampy) wrote a letter to our four children this week. In this letter he told them what intelligent and genuinely good people they are and how proud we are of each of them (his own words of course, I’m paraphrasing). He then told them that he had lived a lot longer than they had and knew a lot more than they did about many things. Monday, 3/22/10Why is it that some of life’s (seemingly) most simple tasks defy reason, logic, instinct and sometimes even preparedness? NO REALLY, IT’S EASY AS PIE
Sunday, 3/21/10I have a love/hate relationship with learning new skills and hope that I’m not the only Grammy to feel like this! It’s not that I think I’m too old to learn just about anything I want because really, anyone breathing is young enough to learn something new. I seem to “hold” my breath a lot but I’m pretty sure that’s different from not breathing!! It’s not that I don’t WANT to learn, my challenge comes in the form of finding, or rather making, the “TIME” to learn something new.
